We're off to see the volcano today! How exciting!! This is the first volcano visit for both of us. Luckily for us, it turned out to be a pretty clear day and we were able to see the whole volcano. The last time the volcano
erupted was 7 months ago. It would be
sooooo cool to see the lava
flowing at night, alas the
postcards will have to suffice for now.
The park developed multiple hiking paths to the volcano, but the tours said it was about a 4 hour hike. I only brought hiking sandals, not full hiking shoes, so we were We didn't have the time, so we took the driving route. We have a car, so we may as well use it to our advantage. Park entrance fee was $6 per person.

Volcanoes are so cool! I could have sat here all day just taking in all its glory.
The area is so lush and green. Aside from the views of the volcano, the views of the countryside were pretty darn spiffy as well!
Ahhhh, so relaxing! And we were the only ones up there. It was awesome!
